ZOOM JAPAN, a free monthly magazine about Japanese culture, launched in London in May. ZOOM JAPAN was been created to cater for people with a strong interest in Japanese culture. It provides varied and comprehensive information on all aspects of Japan - tradition and pop culture, art, music, film, travel and current affairs essential to knowing the Japan of here and now.
The magazine is a sister publication to ZOOM JAPON, a magazine that was successfully founded in June 2010 in Paris (published on the first of every month at 600,000 copies per run). In France there has always been a great interest in Japanese culture, which led to the creation of Japan-related media such as ZOOM JAPON. Interest in Japanese pop culture has been steadily increasing in intensity in the UK as well, hence the launch of ZOOM JAPAN for UK Japan enthusiasts.
The first issue of ZOOM JAPAN is now available at Japanese restaurants and food shops in London, Japanese language education facilities such as Universities, travel agents, the UK Japanese embassy, UK based Japanese commerce and industry bodies and at Japan-related events.
To celebrate the launch of the first issue, ZOOM JAPAN is running a competition to win Japan-related goods on their website. To enter the competition, or to read online, go to www.zoomjapan.info.
